“Palmieri belongs to that breed of undisciplined authors, and therefore apparently difficult to place nowadays, being an architect, a photographer, an artist with a poet’s soul” says Giacinto Di Pietrantonio in his introduction to the work of Marco Palmieri, whose artistic research – filled with references that range from Ettore Sottsass, the artist’s friend and mentor, to Morandi and Hopper – curiously investigates the poetry of spaces, shapes and geometries.
