Fogli Andrea

Andrea Fogli after studying classics and graduating in philosophy, he then started exhibiting his work in the Ugo Ferranti Gallery in Rome, articulating his work between drawing, sculpture, painting, photography and writing. His research has been followed carefully by Peter Weiermair, Jan Hoet and Lorand Heghi and he has had personal and collective exhibition in major museums in Italy and across Europe. His publications include: Il diario delle ombre (Kerber, Bielefeld 2006), which brings together the cycle of 365 drawings exhibited by Jan Hoet at the Marta in Herford, the anthological collections Scala Reale (Diagonale/Galleria d'Arte Moderna di Bologna, 2002) and Ogni cosa (Tutti i Santi, Innsbruck 2013), and finally the Diario della polvere e dell’argilla, with an introduction by Giorgio Agamben, published in 2018 by Quodlibet.
