Antonella Ranaldi is an architect specializing in the restoration of monuments and Doctor of History of Architecture. Since 2009, she has been manager of Mibact. She is Superintendent of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the city of Milan. She has headed several restorations, including those of the church of the SS. Salvatore in Bologna (from 2002 to 2008) and the former Benedictine monastery of the Cloisters of San Pietro in Reggio Emilia (from 2004 to 2009). She has taught architectural restoration at the Faculty of Architecture of the Università degli Studi di Bologna (from 2002 to 2009). She cultivates and combines an interest in the history of architecture and restoration.
