Ernesto L. Francalanci - He has taught at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Padua and at California University; he is Professor of History of Art and Director of the Department of History, Criticism and Theory of the Contemporary at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice; he is Professor of Representation Techniques at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Trieste and of History of Contemporary Art at the Faculty of Design and Arts of the Iuav University in Venice; he is the author of art history texts for high schools and universities (Istituto Geografico De Agostini and Zanichelli) and of numerous essays on history, art criticism and aesthetics (Estetica degli oggetti, Il Mulino 2006; Estetica del potere, Mimesis 2014); he is a contributor to the Istituto dell'enciclopedia italiana (La geografia della critica d'arte, 2010).
