Giulia Vetri is an Italian illustrator, writer and designer, born in 1989 in a small town on the Po River Delta. She studied industrial design at the IUAV in Venice and illustration at the ISIA in Urbino. In 2016, she moved to Brussels where she still lives and works. She has published several books with French and international publishers: her first book Antarctica, viaggio nella terra incognita (first published in France in 2018) won the EMYS Sachbuchpreis for best documentary in Germany in 2021. She is also part of the Brussels-based illustrator collective "Cuistax" which publishes a fanzine for kids.
