Peteris Lidaka was born in Riga, Latvia, in 1978 and studied at St. Martins College in London. He works as a freelance illustrator and pursues a number of disciplines including sculpture, design, animation and photography. He defines himself as a space traveller and he enjoys inventing countless forms of objects and flying animals with surreal, intense and metaphorical characteristics. He has participated in many solo and collective exhibitions.
