Mulas Melina

Melina Mulas - She was born and raised in a family of photographers and lives and works in Milan.
She learnt her profession from her mother Antonia Mulas and since 1984 has concentrated her research in the field of portraiture, to which she has added frequent collaborations with theatre, fashion and the Ugo Mulas Archive. In 2006 he exhibited and published The Lamas of Tibet. Il Terzo Occhio, a collection of portraits of the main Tibetan Lamas photographed since 1991; for several years now he has dedicated himself to documenting certain aspects of the culture of the Tibetan people in exile in India. He teaches photography
for Naba - Nuova accademia di belle arti and organises teaching workshops involving groups of students in a collective work process, often linked to the territory. In 2012, in collaboration with the Cooperativa Minotauro, she created the photographic project In campo, of which she is the artistic director.
