Katia Spitzer studied history and art history in Halle and illustration at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig and Lucerne. She illustrates children's and adult books. His first book Lit.lifestyle was awarded among the "Schönsten Deutschen Bücher" of the year 2007. In 2011 her dissertation "Quodlibet" was published by Nobrow Press in London. Since then Katja Spitzer has published more than 30 books. Today she lives in Müggelsee and works in a studio in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.With RAUM Italic she also published Una linea è una linea. 77 creative exercises in drawing, painting and collage (2021).
