Bruno Munari. Tuttotondo Tuttoquadro

“Tiles remain on walls for thirty years, artistic styles change with each new season...”.

Bruno Munari made in 1982 for Gabbianelli two projects for furnishing tiles, “Tuttotondo” and “Tuttoquadro”, applying simple 20x20 tiles abstract decorations inspired by the circle’s and square’s shape. Munari plays on how the human eye focuses rythms, proportions and visual harmonies, linking this research to a series of experimentations he conducted during all his life.

Beppe Finessi tells us the project for Gabbianelli and puts it in relation with the never ending interest by Munari for the visual perception of the human eye.
