Coccodrilli, carbone e mongolfiere
È arrivata Santa Lucia!
The night between 12 and 13 December is different from all other nights: Santa Lucia and her little donkey go from house to house delivering presents to everyone. Very fast and careful, she leaves behind incredible presents, just like the ones you can see in this book: page after page, Marta Lonardi shows us what children found the morning after the Saint's eagerly awaited visit. They are weird, fantastic, unexpected, tiny or huge, balanced on top of each other or scattered throughout the house. If you keep your eyes peeled, you'll be able to spot the tracks left by Santa Lucia and her donkey (they're very good at not being noticed) and find the strangest presents - even those hidden under a mountain of coal.
Following L’arrivo di Santa Lucia by Noemi Vola and Andrea Antinori, and Santa Lucia. Una storia poco natalizia by Alice Beniero, here is Santa Lucia as imagined by Marta Lonardi, with her load of crocodiles, coal and hot air balloons.
