Nel 1984 inaugura la sua prima mostra personale al Centro d'Arte Santelmo di Salò. Nel 1986 è invitato alla IX Quadriennale di Roma ed inizia la serie delle sue esposizioni personali in gallerie italiane e straniere. Alla XII Quadriennale di Roma del 1996 espone \"Officium\". In quegli stessi anni comincia la serie di opere \"Gesti Quotidiani\": piccoli oggetti riciclati come vecchie cornici, lavagnette, quaderni ritrovati, scatole vuote che raccoglie e rielabora. Nel 2000 vince il primo premio ex-aequo al 40° Premio Nazionale d'Arte Suzzara. Ha tenuto oltre 150 mostre nelle principali città europee, in Asia e negli Stati Uniti.
