Riparlare dell'arte contemporanea
Why is contemporary art hard to understand? Why does it seem to exclude the spectator and at the same time consider them indispensable for the sake of art's own existence and, above all, how can the spectators orient themselves in forms of expression that are so distant from the classical connotations that characterise the work of art?
To answer these questions, Gloria Bovio, Nathalie Heinich, Stefano Zuffi, Valerio Terraroli, Francesca Pasini, Stefano Bartezzaghi and Marco De Marinis express their point of view by bringing together closely related disciplines such as sociology, philosophy and art history in a reflection on contemporary art and its fruition, which focuses on the contemporary public and the difficulties they encounter in approaching the art of their time.
Considerazioni Intempestive takes its name from the first two editions of Dialoghi d'arte, the festival on contemporary art organised by the Fondazione Cultura Noli, which aims to be a meeting place and starting point to accompany the public on a journey of learning about contemporary art.
