Double face

Double face is an endless series of variations on human faces. Each face is “double” because it can be observed in both reading senses of the book, without a top nor a bottom, without a start nor an end. By turning it upside down, each face changes its expression in a curious and unexpected way... Happy, misterious, uncombed, haughty, enigmatic, euphoric, distraught... In the reader’s hands, child or adult, the faces’ outlines become examples of all possible expressions: a gallery of vivid full-bodied “masks” floating on a particularly thick paper.
