Nina Artioli
Omaggio a Gae Aulenti
Omaggio a Gae Aulenti, released with the exhibition of the same name at the Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli in Turin, reconstructs, four years after her death, the professional and personal journey of this great protagonist of twentieth century architecture and design. Her home-studio in Milan, the space that now gathers together all of Gae Aulenti’s work and thinking, becomes the starting point to retrace all of her links, inspirations and collaborations, ranging from architecture and design to set design and museum projects.
The book, edited by Nina Artioli, seeks to pay homage to Gae Aulenti by retracing the most important moments of her life and her work. An intimate and personal portrait, including some previously unseen material, in a thematic journey, in balance between the arts, showing the originality and versatility of the architect, from which emerges her figure as a total artist and eclectic designer.
