The fable game
First produced by Danese in 1965, Il gioco delle favole / The Fable Game, now in the Corraini catalogue, is made up of interlocking
illustrations populated by animals, plants, and objects, which can be assembled and disassembled by inventing infinite stories.
In his pictures, Enzo Mari works on reducing superfluous details to create an essential, iconic representation of the elements of nature.
This series of posters includes five of the subjects created for the game: the Hen, the Rooster, the Dog and the Stork and the Cat, as well as a reproduction of a game board.
