For this very reason, we must return to discuss design in sacred art, with examples of projects that successfully combine aesthetics and the search for meaning. So we asked \u003cstrong\u003efive renowned Italian designers\u003c\/strong\u003e to create a chalice. Why a chalice? Not only because it is the most sacred vessel in Eucharistic liturgy, but also because it has an easily communicable shape that goes beyond personal affiliations and religious knowledge. And finally, Why these five designers? Because\u003cstrong\u003e Antonia Astori, Riccardo Dalisi, Michele De Lucchi, Alessandro Mendini \u003c\/strong\u003eand\u003cstrong\u003e Paolo Rizzatto\u003c\/strong\u003e have the extraordinary experience and expertise attributable only to masters (capable of dealing with complex and deeply rooted themes, simultaneously rich in symbolic reference and in functional specificity).
