Ritratto di famiglia

Quaderni della valle camonica 5

€9.00

Ritratto di famiglia (family portrait), the fifth of the quaderni della valle camonica, gives a contemporary view of the local rock drawings. The cave paintings extend beyond the borders of the archaeological park to the inhabitants of the valley’s homes and everyday lives, giving the community a modern and up to date portrait of their local heritage.

The quaderni della valle camonica are an editorial project, which developed during a workshop devised to illustrate the wonderful heritage of rock engravings of the Camonica Valley. Short texts and pages with stratified drawings in relief actively illustrate the knowledge, customs and expressions of a lively, multifarious popular culture.

The Ritratto di famiglia notebook is edited by Elena Turetti and was inspired by “Lapidario Fantastico”, an experimental design workshop devised by Max Rommel and Pietro Corraini.
