Roberto Ciaccio. La voce dei metalli

€30.00

Through constant and thorough research, reflection, experimentation Roberto Ciaccio has created complex works, rich in intense artistic expression, whose language lies between painting and sculpture, between lyrical nuances, musical resonances and philosophical content, revealing an important aspect of the relevance of abstract art. The exhibition that opened on 24 January 2019 at the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan is dedicated to his artistic career. The exhibition highlights a particular aspect of the artist's creative process: the creation of works on metal: large sheets of different metals, iron, zinc, copper and aluminium. Works that bear the traces of time, the memory of events often unknown, enigmatic, and that is why they are fascinating and the origin of the possible. The inks, their layers, almost like veils of various colors, the glow of metals, their intrinsic sound, are evidence of a design that is waiting to be completed. The volume "Roberto Ciaccio. La voce dei Metalli" is edited by the Roberto Ciaccio Archives and is dedicated to the philosopher Remo Bodei, who has curated several previous exhibitions and was a friend of Ciaccio's. The volume is published by Corraini Edizioni with graphic design by Origoni Steiner Architetti Associati.
