Bruno Munari
The blackbird has lost its beak
Il merlo ha perso il becco
This first project of this book was originally conceived by Bruno Munari in 1940, as the visual interpretation of a famous popular song, Il merlo ha perso il becco (The blackbird has lost its beak).
Published for the first time in 1987, it is now reprinted with silk-screen printing on transparent plastic sheets, which mime and accompany the disassembling and re-assembling of the blackbird. A book and a toy at the same time to see a song by glancing through the images.
