Un saggio e due interviste

This monograph on the works of Adriano Altamira is the result of a series of conversations held between the artist and Flaminio Gualdoni between 2018 and 2019.

The first recordings prompted the subject matter of the "critical chronology" that opens the book. It is an in-depth investigation of three periods of the artist's production: Area di coincidenza, the studies on Sogni and the series of collages and photographs Visti per caso.

The second conversation focuses on the importance of drawing in Adriano Altamira's creative process, while the third was recorded in the run-up to the exhibition held in the Appartamento dei Nani in the Palazzo Ducale in Mantua in 2019.

The texts are accompanied by images of over forty of the artist's works.
