Un Sedicesimo 60

In 2016, the Signe – Centre national du Graphisme in Chaumont – commissioned to Patrick Lindsay “Le Lumigraphe”, an interactive installation comprising a set of elements, etched and cut in transparent tinted plexiglass. Somewhere between a puzzle and a mechanism, these units allow for an infinity of combinations. Based on superposition, rotation and light, the “Lumigraphe” explored the moving image, where colours merge and wefts create optical illusions.
