Vita, morte e miracoli

To mark Maurizio Finotto's solo show, the book edited by the artist and conceived as the crowning achievement of the exhibition Vita, morte e miracoli is published by Edizioni MAMbo.
The images inspired by the tradition of "per grazia ricevuta" and "ex voto" chase each other across the pages of the book, alternating with dialogues that the artist has woven with the writers Ermanno Cavazzoni, Emidio Clementi, Ugo Cornia and Tiziano Scarpa, starting from the production of the first images in 2015.
Unpublished drawings created by Finotto especially for this edition make the book even more dynamic and unusual.
The work is completed by a preface by Ermanno Cavazzoni, a text by Marco Bertozzi centred on La lingua dei miracoli, a video in which Finotto's mother and grandmother comment on the works with the artist, and an afterword by Uliana Zanetti
