Fondazione Achille Castiglioni

The Fondazione Achille Castiglioni was founded in 2011 and is based at the Studio Museo in Piazza Castello in Milan where Achille Castiglioni worked for over 40 years. The Fondazione’s main goal is to catalogue, order, archive and digitalise projects, drawings, photos, models, object, books and magazines; the world that Achille worked in for more over 60 years, initially with his brother Pier Giacomo, and then alone from 1968. The Foundation also organises guided tours of the Studio, where the prototypes, models, and anonymous objects that Castiglioni collected during his life and used in his lectures at the Politecnico di Torino and the Politecnico di Milano are kept.
