Vaglio Tanet Maddalena

Maddalena Vaglio Tanet (1985) graduated in literature at the University of Pisa and Columbia University in New York. She used to live in Berlin for several years and recently moved to the Netherlands, where she works as a literary scout. She has published poems in Italian and German magazines. Her first children's book, Il cavolo di Troia e altri miti sbagliati (Rizzoli), was selected in the finalist triplet for best debut at the Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi 2021. Casa Musica (Raum Italic), winner of the Orbil Prize, was translated also into German. In 2023 the novel Tornare dal bosco (Marsilio) was released, which received the Segafredo Zanetti Prize, was included in the dozen of the Premio Strega and is currently being translated into several languages. In 2024, the children's novel Rim e le parole liberate was published by Rizzoli.
