Castiglioni Livia

Livia Castiglioni graduated in Communication Sciences - Psychology of Communication at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Bicocca, in 2004. She graduated as an actress from the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Art in 2008, where she studied, among others, with: Lorenzo Salveti, Luca Ronconi, Mario Ferrero, Anna Marchesini, Danio Manfredini. She has worked as an actress with Andrea Baracco, Gipo Gurrado, Silvia Giulia Mendola, Paolo Giorgio, Carlo Alighiero, Deborah de Bernardi, Andrea di Vincenzo, Delia Rimoldi. She played Portia in Julius Caesar by W. Shakespeare, directed by A. Baracco, selected for the Festival Globe to Globe 2012 (Globe Theatre, London). In addition to her work as an actress, she is also a playwright, director and author. Her play Casca il mondo was selected for the review Hors (Teatro Litta 2017/2018). She worked on the dramaturgy of L'indulgenza del latte by Patrizio Belloli, winner of Festival Tagad'off 2017, and on Supermarket. A modern musical tragedy, a musical created by Gipo Gurrado at the Teatro Fontana. With Silvia Giulia Mendola, she worked on the adaptation and translation of W. Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. She is the author of Scenamuta, a play on the delicate subject of bullying. As an author she is currently working on several fronts: theatre, prose and podcasts.
