Giorgio Camuffo, graphic designer, is associate professor of visual communication at the Design and Art faculty at the Free University of Bolzano. He has created and curated a number of different exhibitions and initiatives dedicated to design. Among his recent publications are: Graphic Design, Exhibiting, Curating, About Learning and Design and Graphic Design: History and Practice (edited by Bolzano University Press). Before moving into teaching, he ran Studio Camuffo for more than 20 years (from 1990), in his hometown of Venice. Coordinating a team of young designers, he worked with institutions and businesses including Fabrica and the Gruppo Benetton, Coin, Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Grassi, Fondazione Bevilaqua La Masa, Fondazione Querini Stampalia and the Biennale di Venezia.
