Paola Antonelli has been the Curator in the MoMa's Department of Architecture and Design of New York since 1994. She organized some of the most important design exhibitions: "Mutant material in Contemporary Design" (1995); "Thresholds: Contemporary Design from the Netherlands" (1996); "Achille Castiglioni: Design (1997-98)" and "Projects 66: Campana/Ingo Maurer" (1990), "Matter and Workspheres: Designing the Workplace of Tomorrow" (2001). In 1990 she obtained a Master's Degree in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan and she organized several architecture and design exhibitions in Italy, France and Japan. She worked as Contributing Editor for the magazine "Domus", Design Editor for "Abitare", and she also contributed articles to several publications, such as "Metropolis"," I.D.", "Paper", "Metropolitan Home", "Harper's Bazar" and "Nest". From 1991 to 1993 she was a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles. She held courses on design and architecture in Europe and in the United States and served on several international architecture and design juries.
