Studio Trikken is a Swedish-based studio founded by John Schulisch and Johan Elmehag. John & Johan met during their BA in Graphic Design at MAU, Malmö. The studio was formed as a platform to take on projects that spark the duo’s passion and imagination. Trikken partners with artists, cultural institutions as well as private companies to pursue customized, progressive, and unexpected design solutions through visual arts and typography. Or just to have fun. However, self-initiated projects have a natural place in the duo’s practice, projects that often result in; concept-driven typography systems, small press, or community-based projects. An example of Studio Trikken’s self-initiated projects is the collaborative poster project “Risokompis”.
