Daniel Soutif, agrégé in philosophy, has worked as art and music critic for various magazines and newspapers. For the Centre Pompidou he was editor-in-chief of "Cahiers su Musée national d'art moderne". From 2003 to 2006 he was director of the Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato and since 2006 he has been an independent curator. He has also produced a rich filmography of documentary videos and has authored numerous articles.
