Steiner e Dolcini

Tra grafica utile e disordine attivo

€40.00

The book brings together essays written over a period of five years and at different times, some of which have already been published as articles in books and journals or presented at conventions and conferences, while others have remained unpublished until now.

Massimo Dolcini's work is at the centre of these reflections and yet it is not a monographic study. Starting from the figure of Dolcini himself, the perspective expands in a temporal and spatial direction, including other tales. Special emphasis is placed on the significance of Dolcini's meeting with Albe Steiner and Michele Provinciali and their work at the CSAG in Urbino, in the conviction that this allows us to better understand the figure of Dolcini both in terms of his social and political commitment, and in the graphic language he developed.

With a preface by Carlo Vinti, professor and historian of design and visual communication.
