Following the release of The Illustrators Survival Guide, the guide dedicated to the profession of the illustrator, comes the Survival Guide dedicated to the roles of editor and publisher, again created by Mimaster Illustrazione in collaboration with the Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori and with the support of the Fondazione Cariplo.

Anecdotes and snapshots from publishers reveal the variety of skills involved in the production of a book and the complexity of the relationships among the various professionals working in the field. With essays by Ivan Canu and Giacomo Benelli (Mimaster Illustrazione), and contributions from many editors and publishers - from small independent publishing houses as well as large publishing groups - who have created a collective account of the rules, regulations, passions, and frustrations of those who work with and for books.
