A group of friends among writers and otherwise insiders, bound together by a common passion for good food, good wine, good literature and endless discussions, who, with almost punctual deadlines, meet up in Mordano, in the hinterland of Bologna, to stay up late in front of the fireplace at Lucarelli's house.

It was on one such evening that 27 secondi was born from the imagination of the writers present. An exercise in style, a detective story by several hands with a surprise ending. A detective story within a detective story, however. Because the real enigma, for the reader, will be to discover who wrote one passage rather than another. Happy hunting, then.
