Corgnati comments on Garau's works in these words: "The artist immerses himself in a deep understanding of what has been – the source – which, proceeding through successive channels, pushes itself to reclaim the aridity of tomorrow. Cultivating the land therefore means reclaiming memory, which passes from the past to the present to the future and enriches it with a possible meaning."
