FUOCO fuochino is a compilation from writer-friends who have generously given a short story, some poetry or their thoughts in the name of a common passion for literature.
Originally thought up by Afro Somenzari, the idea was created during a series of meetings of odd writers in the south of the Mantuan province, lapped by the river Po, on the border between Lombardy and Emilia. Within a setting of fog, story tellers, boats and little local restaurants, FUOCO fuochino quietly hints at lively and highly imaginative literary lights that appear and disappear like wayfarers’ signals along the road.
FUOCO fuochino is a publishing company – “the poorest publishing company in the world”, as it admits on the frontispiece – but it is also the name of this illustrated collection of writings by author-friends. FUOCO fuochino 1 is available in 300 copies and is distributed by Corraini Edizioni.
FUOCO fuochino 1 includes txts by Paolo Albani, Lorenza Amadasi, Robreto Barbolini, Ihll Bihto, Alberto Casjraghy, Gianni Celati, Guido Conti, Brunella Eruli, Silvano Freddi, Tania Lorandi, Virginia Merisi, Antoine Naville, Ugo Nespolo, Giuseppe Pederiali, Afro Somenzari. Illustrations by Gianluigi Toccafondo.
