An artist’s book that is read both in relation to Sissi’s work and to the work of great anatomists who first opened up windows to the subcutaneous basement. The method behind Parallel Anatomy, the art project that Sissi has been developing over a number of years, is laid out in this book, a way of speaking about emotions as intangible organs which, in order to take on a body, inhabit other organs, modifying them.
