Mahony

Mahony's catalogue, a collective founded in 2002, composed of Stephan Kobatsch, Jenny Wolka and Clemens Leuschner, is the first of the publications of the ROSE Residency Programme, a project curated by Giulia Pezzoli, which sees first the stay at the Sandra Natali Artists' Residence, then the exhibition at the Villa delle Rose exhibition venue.

Ghosts and the self was composed of eight large installations which, through a combination of different media, analysed episodes exemplifying the contradictions that have characterised the colonial history of the West, relating them to the most current aspects of contemporary culture, which can still be found in political debates and social conflicts.

The catalogue presents the photographic selection of the exhibition held at Villa delle Rose and the critical contributions of Roberto Pinto and Giulia Grechi.
