Reflections

REFLECTIONS. Rosemarie Trockel and the Turin collections propose a dialogue between selected works belonging to the collections of museums in the city of Turin and photographs and pottery of the German artist: a play of remarks and semantic connections between techniques, mediums and different historical periods.

Reflections is an exchange, an enrichment of reciprocal sense, a mirror reflection between contemporary and non-contemporary works, between past and present, high culture and culture, thought on the occasion of the homonymous exhibition at the Pinacoteca Agnelli last winter and curated by Paolo Colombo popular, canvas and ceramic, between photography and portrait, abstract and figurative. An attempt by Rosemarie Trockel to make a stratified representation of the self; the portrait is in fact a driving element throughout its production, on a journey through a series of counterpoints from the Turin museums.
