Art theorems

First published by Scheiwiller in 1961 the Milanese master’s historic Art theorems is added to the Block Notes series, conceived and directed by Bruno Munari. The book includes a sharp and amusing collection of brief considerations about art which still make us smile and reflect today.

The Block Notes series was created by Bruno Munari in 1992 for Corraini, an open collection of projects. These included creative examples of how to use art playfully and intelligently. The books in the series are characterized by their grey covers, pocket-size dimensions and the holes on the cover which prompt the reader to "wander in" through to the book itself.
