The adventurous visual research of Un Sedicesimo goes on in dancing rhythm, dragging us into Tom the cat's tragic escalation of events. Tom can rely upon his nine lives, but, page after page, a driving countdown leads the wretched cat to his final life.

Wilhelm Staehle's black-and-white cynicism follows the rhythm of words and silhouettes that throw us in the imaginary world of American East Coast in the early 20th century. The conclusion of the cat is to enjoy this final life, for one is better than none!
