Verzotti Giorgio

Giorgio Verzotti, born in Boca (Novara) in 1953, is an art critic and curator. He has taught at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and the Università Cattolica in Brescia, and he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Antonio Ratti in Como and the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan. From 1991 to 2001 he was curator (chief curator since 1999) of Castello di Rivoli - Museo d'arte contemporanea a Rivoli (Turin), while from 2002 to 2005 he was chief curator of MART - Museo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto. He is currently an external consultant for MART.
