Martí Guixé lives and works in Barcelona and Berlin, devoting himself to inventing "brilliantly simple ideas of curious significance" by means of an unorthodox point of view. He trained in Barcelona and Milan as an interior and industrial designer. While in Berlin in 1994, he formulated a new way of understanding product culture and started exhibiting his pieces in 1997. Guixé's body of work is marked by the search for new systems around product and production, the introduction of design into food and the presentation of projects through performance. He has worked with companies such as Camper, Chupa-Chups, Desigual, Droog Design, Saporiti and Watx and has exhibited at the MoMA in New York, the Design Museum in London, MACBA in Barcelona and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
