Halina Kirschner

Halina Kirschner was born in Leipzig in 1982. She studied illustration and graphic design at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig and Strasbourg. She illustrates children's and adult books, designs posters, brochures and more. She also teaches numerous art classes for girls and boys. Her picture books Trecker kommt mit (mairisch, 2017) and Das ist das Bauhaus (E.A. Seemann, 2019) were awarded among the "Schönsten Deutschen Bücher." His latest books include Trieste Centrale (kreuzerbooks, 2022) and Wilde Radtour mit Velociraptorin (mairisch, 2023).
