The volume gathers this series of works by Salvatore Garau – painter, as well as musician and writer, elements of essential importance to an understanding of the artist’s poetics – in which an obsessive use of monochrome consisting of red nuances seems to evoke the spirit of the legendary battles of Wagner’s heroes. The works are accompanied by critical texts by Lóránd Hegyi and by Garau himself.
