Teatri di Terra

Dialogo fra libri per ragazzi e opere d'arte

€15.00

Conceived as a dialogue between children's books and works of art, Teatri di terra is the book that accompanies the exhibition of the same name held during the Minimondi festival in Parma.
The books in the precious collection of the Library of Busseto, which boasts 247 years of uninterrupted public life, are accompanied by the works of some great Italian artists and photographers such as Concetto Pozzati, Bruno Munari, Tullio Pericoli and Giovanni Chiaramonte.

Paintings and photographs that explore the staging, different stories and separate performances of individual protagonists. All of them, however, underline one fact: nature, the space of the earth is now only staged, a representation of a lost world, inexorably distant, that only art can give back, letting us grasp how true and vital it was in the past of ancient literary memories and images.

Edited by Gloria Bianchino, the volume includes texts by Corrado Mingardi and Arianna Di Genova.
