Triennale Milano
Since 1923, Triennale Milano has been one of the most important cultural institutions on an international level, capable of exploring the complexity of the contemporary through a plurality of languages: design, architecture, visual, scenic and performing arts. Since 1933 the Triennale has been housed in the Palazzo dell'Arte, designed by Giovanni Muzio.
During the 20th century, it has contributed to the affirmation of the unity of the arts and to the development of Italian architecture and design, dedicating exhibitions to themes of economic and social importance, and then extending its fields of interest to fashion, cinema, graphics and audiovisual communication. Since 2007 it has been home to the Triennale Design Museum and it has hosted the Teatro dell'Arte since 2011.
